My students and I experimented with Glogster a little this spring. Students really enjoyed using this tech tool and found many uses. I can't wait to introduce this to my students as a getting to know you activity. Students will create their own glogs to introduce themselves to their classmates.
In the meantime, check out my Using Glogster in the Classroom Glog!

Week 8 - Thing 21 - Digital Storymakers
For primary students I like the simplicity of StoryBird. Drag and drop to create your own story. I also like the ability to collaborate with others on the project. GoAnimate tells a story differently than StoryBird and I could see using this in intermediate classes. Again, I like the idea of creating an assignment for students and after they have been introduced to all Web 2.0 tools being given the choice of picking which tool they feel would best convey their meaning. Choices, choices! Can't wait to use in class!

Week 8-Thing 19-Bubblesnaps
Students can have fun reflecting on classroom activities or field trips. Here is a picture from our class field trip to Silver Springs.
Week 7- Thing 18-Tagxedo
I have used wordles to practice spelling words and type key vocabulary; however, I like the added capability of shaping my words in tagxedo. Can't wait to try in class!
